63 years ago amidst desperate but determined sacrifices by wise men led by the wisest of all we attained independence. Obscure was the contours of the new nation but hope persisted and we went through unheard of rigors and pangs of birth, attempts to re-size us. Ably led for 19 years, we took on the world; though that wisecrack world ridiculed us and many prophesied that we would perish under our own contradictions.

The system that we inherited we were unable to either reform or jettison to create one suitable for our own selves. We became slaves to this for our survival was at stake at the hands of those who wield. Parity has been so disparate that it has become inconceivable not to come across a rag picking family amidst relative opulence. Food, Feed and scarce resources are free for monetizing, except for the purpose they are meant for. An un-greased palm is not worth a palmist’s look. Governance has failed. There seems to be nothing left to imagination anymore.

Is my country becoming an euphemism for SCAM?.. Socially Convulsed Alchemical Monster?

Will the next generation have the wherewithal to erase the blot, clean the mangy, rabid past of 44 years and rewrite history that we are indeed an altruistic nation?
